PHOENIX

Phoenix, a 30 +year old horse was bought at the Weatherford Auction for $15.00.  He
improved dramatically but after almost 2 yrs of love and plentiful feeding, his aged body
finally gave out. He was helped across the Rainbow Bridge as loving LDEP members
spoke caring words, and dropped many precious tears on his sweet tired face. He will be
greatly missed but NEVER forgotten.

LUCKY

Lucky, was a donation in lieu of seizure in July 2007.
Thanks to an excellent foster home, he made a wonderful recovery. Lucky has been
adopted by his forever loving home.

LUCKY 2 months
later

Pokie

Was purchased by LDEP and adopted by Micah. Micah, a young man with many health
and medical problems, had always wanted a horse of his own. Pokie’s adoption fee was
paid for by the generous donations of LDEP members.

BABY GIRL
Baby Girl came to us when the owners called and said they needed advice on their
horses weight lose, as you can see she suffered from more than just simple wight lose,
Baby Girl went down in the trailer on the way to the LDEP HQ and had to be eithanized
on the spot as she was too weak to get up and the VET said there was no hope for her.
